This is a quick and tasty meal.
- 1 lb hot sausage, browned and drained
- 1 cup chopped celery
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1 cup chopped bell pepper
- 1 cup rice, uncooked
- 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can chicken broth, combined with water to make 2 cups of liquid
- salt and pepper
- Combine all the ingredients in a 2-quart casserole.
- Cover and bake at 325°F for 1 hour.
