Excellent soup! I used fresh chopped spinach in place of the kale, and I did not add crushed red pepper flakes since our sausage was very hot and spicy to begin with. The 1/4 c. of cream gives this the perfect amount of richness without overdoing. Easy to prepare, the boys in the family loved it, and I will make this again, as it's a great way to use up 1/2 lb. of sausage. Great!
