A Brownie in my Scout Troop submitted this recipe when we put together a cookbook we worked on as a Troop project. I liked it immediately because it's easy to prepare and my entire family loved it!

Directions

  1. If using sausage with casing, remove casing and cut into cubes.
  2. Brown on all sides; add 2 T.
  3. water and cover.
  4. Simmer until well done.
  5. Add onion and green pepper; let steam, covered, for 10 minutes.
  6. Add soup and water, bring to a boil, reduce heat and let simmer until slightly thickened.
  7. Serve over hot cooked noodles.
