  1. Tried for supper and enjoyed the caraway seed flavour . A good way to serve sausage.

  2. Good "peasant" food -- filling, inexpensive and easy to make. Also delicious.

  3. Really delicious. I used beer instead of apple juice. As much as I like kielbasa & saurkraut, I thought this was even better, more flavorful, more subtle. Delicous the next day, too, when the flavors have a chance to develop further.

  4. I've made this recipe twice and it was a winner each time. I used beer instead of apple juice, because we like things more savory than sweet. The cooking time was a bit longer. All in all, a great dinner!

  5. I subbed breakfast sausage for kielbasa - still wonderful! Will make many times. Thanks!

After DH and I moved away from the farm, and to the city...I haven't done as much cooking and very little canning. But I do come to Zaar and look for new recipes once in a while. I'm still cooking Zaar!! I like to play at Facebook, with my family and friends. A lot of my Zaar friends are there!! Yay! It's a good way to keep in touch. We travel more. We're looking at the European trips now. Hope to go in the springtime. I really want to see London, I think I lived there in a past life, I've been obsessed with it since I was 10 years old!!
