  1. In large mixing bowl, cream butter or margarine and sugar till light.
  2. Beat in eggs, one at a time; add vanilla.
  3. Sift together flour, baking powder, soda, salt, and cocoa powder; add.
  4. to creamed mixture alternately with water, beating after each.
  5. addition.
  6. Stir in sauerkraut.
  7. Turn into greased and floured 13.
  8. x 9 x 2 inch baking pan.
  9. Bake in 350 degree oven for 35 to 40.
  10. minutes.
  11. Cool in pan.
  12. Frost with Sour Cream-Chocolate Frosting.
  13. Cut in squares to serve.
