My friend made this for dinner last night and I fell in love with the tangy sweet flavoring. This is something new for me and it is really good. She got it from Tastes and Tales from Texas.

  1. Press excess juice from the sauerkraut.
  2. Add green and red peppers (or use pimento for red color).
  3. Add onion, celery, and carrots and mix gently.
  4. Combine vinegar, oil and sugar and pour over vegetable.
  5. Mix thoroughly and chill for several hours before serving.

I liked that this was so colorful. Next time I will cut back on both oil and sugar to satisfy personal preferences. Served for the 4th of July.
