I got this recipe from a Heinz cookbook. It is a nice slightly sweet carrot side dish.

- 1 lb carrot
- 1⁄4 cup ketchup
- 1 1⁄2 tablespoons light brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1⁄8 teaspoon ground allspice
- Slice carrots into 1/2-inch diagonal pieces. Boil carrots to desired tenderness and drain.
- Combine remaining ingredients in a skillet or saucepan, and heat through. Add the carrots and mix with sauce.

Excellent! We normally don't eat a lot of cooked carrots. Not one of our favorites. But this is really good! It has a nice touch of sweetness. Very easy to throw together for a nice change. Thanks JuliJ for posting. Made for PAC spring 08' :)
