This is a keeper. The men in my family loved this recipe. It is very easy to prepare and great tasting. I put it all in the crock pot, took off x-mas shopping and came home to a cooked meal. Next time I will add another potatoe and not slice them quite so thin. YUMMY!!

I tried this one yesterday and will cook it again. I added 1/2 can of water for the soup and cut 4 medium size potatoes 1/2 inch thick. I didn't change anything else. I left the house for a few hours and when I got back the place had the best smell. I wanted to cheat and stir, but left the lid on. The flavor was great and I could have made a meal just on the potatoes and onions. Had some green beans and ice tea to go with it. I had leftovers today, heated in the microwave, and it was even better. Since I live alone, this is a great dish that I can eat for a couple of days without it losing anything. Thanks.

This recipe was delicious. The pork just fell apart it was so tender. The recipe said to cook on hi 7 to 9 hrs. I cooked it on low for 9 hrs. There was lots of sauce left over so I cooked up some rice and used the sauce for that. Thanks for sharing.

I put this in the crockpot Saturday, while I was busy cooking side dishes for our Sunday cookout. My son and his fiance were there and she couldn't wait to eat, because the aroma was making her hungry. Upon tasting it, we all three thought that it was a little bland and needed something. My son decided to season his with seasoned salt and that seemed to do the trick. Next time I make this, I will probably rub a little seasoned salt into each chop before putting them in the crockpot. I prepared exactly as written and the chops were VERY tender and moist. I didn't even need to use a knife. Thanks for the recipe Lorac!

This is a great creamy mix that goes really well with the pork. It smells great while cooking the entire time. I've doubled the soup/sauce/powder mix to make extra to fill the entire crockpot and used it later with garlic bread and also with baked chicken breasts.

I didn't think this meal had much flavor. It smelled great when I got home form work but I was dissapointed after trying it.

5 stars for how easy this recipe was. It needed more flavor in my opinion. The potatoes and onions were divine. I will add more potatoes next time. Overall is was good. I will add more seasoning the next time I make this.

Wow! How much easier does it get? No pre-browning...great flavor...simple to make. A true hit! My husband gave this a 4 and I gave it a 4.5. The fact that both of my children ate it gives it 5 for me. I didn't really change anything...served this over egg noodles. Will make again when I'm in the mood for comfort food!

This was amazing! Unfortunately I did not have cream of celery soup, so I substituted cream of mushroom - also left out the potatoes. It turned out fabulous. The chops were very tender, and the sauce was delicious over rice. Thank you!

Dee-lish! We really liked this. I especially like that I didn't have to dirty up a skillet browning the meat. Prep was quick, and I just layered it directly into the crockpot. I did substitute 1 envelope Knorr Tomato-Basil Soup for the salad dressing mix, and I added a rounded half-teaspoon of dried thyme. Everything else stayed true to the recipe. The gravy was wonderful, and talk about fork-tender pork chops! This is going to the top of my crock pot list. Thanks for a really easy and very tasty main dish, Lorac!

I followed others' suggestions and seasoned and browned the pork first. The recipe turned out very soupy, so I spooned the pork and veggies onto a serving plate and thickened the sauce to make a gravy. The pork was super tender and we had a nice meal, but the taste and texture were just ok and I probably won't make it again.

You out did yourself with this recipe. I couldn't believe how great the sauce was over the potatoes. I followed the recipe as written except I added 3 large potatoes since I had six pork chops. Next time, I will follow some of the other reviews and rub season salt in the pork chops and add carrots for a complete meal.

This was well accepted at my dinner table. It has a good flavor. Important to me, it was easy to put in the crockpot in the morning. I love coming home to dinner cooked. I used red potatoes, unpeeled, and also added carrots. I will make this again.

Definitely a keeper recipe! Super quick and easy. I didn't bother peeling the potatoes -- I like the skins left on. I started out with the crockpot on low, but it didn't seem like it was heating very well, so I turned it up to medium. I probably could have left it on low, because it was done in about 5 or 6 hours. I also wanted to give it a little more "zip", so I used zesty italian salad dressing mix. The flavor was great the first night, but it was REALLY great the second night and also had a more creamy texture. The leftovers actually went over better than the first serving. I will definitely be making this one again, and possibly adding some carrots to the pot to make it a one-pot meal. Thanks for posting!
