Yummy - the sauce has such a rich flavor! I'd give it four and a half stars. I used chicken thighs and one breast - (DS went back for thirds!) Also made a vegetarian version by replacing the chicken with sliced tempeh. DD and DS's girlfriend thought it was great. I realized I was out of sherry, so I used sake instead. I did reduce the soy sauce too. I made a simple satay sauce from red chile, garlic, lime juice, sugar, soy sauce, and almond butter. Will make this again for sure! Thanks!!

We enjoyed this for super earlier this week. A real plus for me was doing the prep in the morning, marinating in the fridge and come mealtime being able to quickly pop into the oven. Made as posted, did the quick zap in the micro for the honey and followed through. As with Jewelies I liked the sticky, sweet and tasty sauce. Did get a mixed vote on this one - think next time will add some freshly minced garlic and that should about do it! Thank you Chef Potts for sharing a family recipe and Chef floWer for her enticing photo that had me choose this recipe for the Recipe Swap # 16.

We enjoyed these very much. My girls loved the sticky, sweet, tasty sauce. I used chicken wings and set them up in my roasting dish in the morning, covered them and let them marinate in the fridge until I got home at night then just popped them into the oven. Served as suggested over rice. Very tasty, thank you for posting! Edited to add that I used 'Taylor's Thai Satay Sauce' which is a peanut based sauce and I bought it at Coles.

This was a very easy dish to make. The only thing different I did was I blended the sauce with a electric hand wand to combine the ingredients, then poured it in the chicken. I left it marinate over night, when I was ready to cook it I placed it in the oven uncovered, served it with steam rice. YUMMY! Thank you Chef Potts
