This is a great flavorful dressing made right in the blender. It makes a fair amount so you can cut the recipe in 1/2, but I make the whole recipe and then refrigerate for later in the week. I often have a small salad for lunch and this is perfect with it. I love to serve this with Sarasota's Ham and Swiss Cheese Salad.

My husband took one bite of his salad with this dressing on it and said...."Oh my God, this is SO good!" and buy the end of the salad he was asking if I could make more of this dressing again. I did sweeten it more with some honey, as I knew at first taste it would be a bit too sharp for his taste, and I guess that did the trick! I served this with recipe #413909 and I consider it a MUST for that salad. But it is SO much more more than that! I can see dipping chicken nuggets or wings in it, and I am thinking of tossing a bunch of chopped mixed veg with it for a different salad. This is going to become a classic in our house. Thank you!
- 3⁄4 cup vegetable oil
- 1⁄4 cup Dijon mustard
- 1⁄4 cup sour cream
- 1⁄4 cup red wine vinegar
- 1⁄8 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 pinch dill
Directions See How It's Made
- Simply add the mustard, sour cream, vinegar, worcestershire, garlic, sugar into a blender or small food processor and blend until smooth and creamy, just a minute or so. Then slowly add in the oil with the blender on low. Last, add the dill in the last few seconds, pulse to combine and check for salt and pepper seasoning.
- Refrigerate and serve over your favorite salad. I like to serve this over Recipe #413909.
