This is a great fried bread. We love to eat this with strawberry jam but they are great eaten savory too. We beg for these and Sarah rarely makes them
- Combine dry ingredients; cut in shortening add water to form a ball and knead on a floured board for 5 minutes. Cover and allow to rest 20 minutes.
- Roll out into a 1/8 inch thick slab. Cut into triangles. and deep fry till golden brown and puffed up.
Yummy! We had to roll them thinner to get a good puff, and ours turned out like volcano's and such instead of pretty triangles, but the taste was Awesome! Thanks Hill Family! Made for Every day's a Holiday!
