  2. You can't have a Bandera without Sangrita! BTW, Sangrita would be more litteraly translated as "little blood". What is a bandera? It's how a lot of us in Mexico ask for our Tequila of choice. Bandera means flag. Mexico's flag is Green, White and Red... You are served a shot glass of criollo-lime juice, a shot glass of you favorite Tequila Blanco, and a shot glass of — you guessed it — Sangrita! It's the perfect chaser trio...

  3. Well, I had regular Minute Maid orange juice on hand and also part of a bottle of tomato juice. So I used 3 cups of tomato juice plus 2 tomatoes and 1-1/2 cups orange juice. Since I only had one LARGE white onion, I only used 1/4 of it. It's hot and I've been relentlessly thirsty and found this very refreshing. It was also very spicy, thanks to the cayenne (actually I reduced the cayenne a little and added a dash of Tropical Pepper Co. Hot & Sweet Sauce), and a bit tangy thanks to the citrus. And did I add the tequila? You bet! All in all, a very nice thing to do to tomatoes.

Very busy nanny/au pair, working for a very rich and snooty family, in a very large home, in a very snooty village. Just in case my employer comes here, please don't ask where I am from, or I'll be sacked like the last nanny was. ;-) I take care of 4 gorgeous, and darling kids. 3 girls and a boy. The boy is the youngest (and my favorite). They are great children, very, very active. (Hyper) I love to cook. I guess that's a given, why else would I be here. Part of my job is also to prepare meals for the family. The more they like my food, the longer I get to stay. (just a little joke) On my day off, I usually go out to the cinema or some dance clubs with the other au pairs in this town. That's about it I think.
