Sangria Rose

Using Rose instead of Burgundy gives this easy to make sangria a lighter more festive taste. Recipe from Sunkist.

• 2 oranges, juice of
• 1 lemon, juice of
• 1/4 cup sugar
• 1 (750 ml) bottle rose wine, chilled
• 1 (12 fluid ounce) can lemon-lime flavored soda, chilled
• 1/4 cup brandy
• orange slice
• lemon slice
• ice cube

Directions:

1. In a large pitcher, combine the orange juice, lemon juice, and sugar, stir to dissolve the sugar.
2. Add the remaining ingredients and stir well.

Delicious! Light and refreshing with wonderful flavor. I mixed everything but the soda and let it chill in the fridge all afternoon, then added the soda to each individual serving. I used diet Sprite and it worked well. Loved this sangria - thanks for sharing your recipe! Made for the Comfort Cafe Event, July 2009
