    • 1 orange, thinly sliced
    • 1 lemon, thinly sliced
    • 1 1/2 cups Grand Marnier
    • 4 1/4 cups red wine, ideally a cheap non-tannic Spanish Rioja
    • 3 cups cola, chilled
    • 3 cups lemonade, chilled

    Directions:

      Place the orange and lemon in a bowl. Pour over the Grand Marnier and chill thoroughly.
    2. 2
      Mix together the Grand Marnier mixture, red wine, coca-cola and lemonade in a large bowl with ice. Serve at once.

      This is a fresh and tasty sangria! Loved the great citrus flavor and the surprising addition of the cola really gave this a bold flavor. I mixed everything but the soda earlier in the day, then added the cola (diet) to each individual serving. Thanks for posting this recipe! Made for the Comfort Cafe Event, July 2009
