Yet another sangria recipe. I got this one from About.com and have been serving it to delighted guests ever since. A cabernet, shiraz/syrah, or blend of the two works very well for the red wine. The recipe can also be made with white wine for a slightly different taste. Cook time does not include overnight refrigeration.
- Combine everything except club soda and refrigerate overnight.
- Mix with club soda just before serving.
I love it when I find a hidden gem like this that's been posted and no one has rated. I feel like I've discovered something special and I have with this recipe. It not only went together so easy but the taste was fresh and light and not to sweet. I've tried other sangria recipes but this HAS to be the best. It's my new go to recipe for any summer gathering.
