Sandcookies - Basic Recipe

"I found this recipe in one of my mothers old cookbooks ( over 50 years old), it is a simple basic recipe, everybody likes them. when you chop up some chocolate ( 50 gr) and add it it to the mixture, you have sort of chocolate chip cookies."

directions

  • mix all together,.
  • make into a couple of rolls and put in fridge for a while.
  • then cut up and put in oven, about 180/200 C for about 20 minutes.
  • you can also make little rolls and flatten them with a fork.
  • makes about 50, but I don't make them too big.

  2. Thanks Nellie for sharing an old family recipe. What a great treat to just pop in your mouth for a quick sugar fix. And so very very simple w/only 3 ingredients. Needless to say I didn't change a thing.

I live in The Netherlands, I came at this site while looking for typical NZ recipes and found quite some nice recipes here, which I would like to give a try one day.
