ingredients
- 2 squirrels, young,cut up
- 1⁄2 cup flour
- 1⁄2 teaspoon seasoning salt
- 1⁄4 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 tablespoons cooking oil
- 1⁄2 cup water
- 1 onion, medium,chopped
- 3 carrots, quartered
directions
- Mix flour, seasoned salt, and pepper, dredge meat.
- Heat cooking oil over medium heat in dutch oven.
- Fry meat until golden brown.
- Reduce heat, add water, onions and carrots.
- Cover and simmer 40 minutes.
