  • Sauté the mushrooms and onions in the butter until tender.
  • Add the salt, pepper, and wine; simmer over low heat until the mixture is reduced by half, about 5 minute
  • Stir in the cream, bay leaf, celery seed, and thyme.
  • Bring to a low boil.
  • Pour over pasta.
  • Decorate the top of each dish with fresh sliced mushrooms.
