These are delicious! I tried them for the first time and wasn't sure whether putting milk on them to glaze would make them soggy or not, but it makes a huge difference! Anyway, this'll be a favorite of mine for a long time.

  1. Sieve flour and salt and rub in the butter.
  2. Gradually mix with milk to make a stiff dough.
  3. Roll out VERY thinly, brush lightly with beaten egg or milk and sprinkle with salt.
  4. Bake 400 F for 10 - 15 minutes.
