I did try this recipe but did not use the amount of salt and pepper as was listed. I salt and peppered to taste. The lemon juice was a bit over kill, so next time I will cut down on that too

Ingredients Nutrition

  • 1 (16 ounce) package frozen edamame, in shell
  • 12 tablespoon salt
  • 14 tablespoon pepper
  • 1 lemon, juice of
  • 1 lemon, sliced


  1. Boil or microwave the edamame according to the package directions.
  2. Combine with the salt and pepper and the juice of 1 lemon.
  3. Serve with the lemon slices as garnish.
