I've been looking for a decent salt substitute since DH was diagnosed with high blood pressure. He never liked the one's we've tried before and kept going back to the table salt. This one is a winner. It has enough salt in it from the poultry seasoning to make him feel like he's getting the flavor he wants but I know the amount is so neglible that it's still healthy. For those who are wondering how much this makes, I made a half recipe and it filled a leftover spice bottle I had in my cupboard.

Chili powder might contain large amounts of salt but since the chili powder makes up about 1/50th of the recipe, overall there would be hardly any salt in this recipe.
