This was wonderful! I made homemade tomatillo salsa and poured that over the pork shoulder instead of the bottled stuff. It turned out awesome. Thanks for a great recipe.

Love this recipe, especially with Pot Scrubber's Mexican Rice. I do mine in the crock pot on low for 8 hours. The night before I prep the meat and put all the spices on like a rub. In the morning I add the liquid and salsa. We come home to YUM!
This is an awesome recipe! I've made it time and time again and get rave reviews every time. I've even made it with chicken and its just as delicious.
I opted for the slow cooker option and was very happy. This is a low effort, high yield meal. The pork shoulders are $1.08/pound around here, so our family eats well and very economically. The leftovers are to die for!!
