I HAD to come back and rate this! We have a local store that makes their own salsa, and it's very good. But lately we've been getting bad batches. In frustration I looked to food.com and found this. I followed the recipe pretty closely, but went with 3 jalepeno's - found it to be a bit too hot, so added more tomato, lime juice, cilantro and got it to just the right heat. Already have the ingredients to make another batch this weekend. Thank you for sharing this recipe!!!

Yummy! I tripled the recipe and left tomatoes chunky. Also used two different types of tomatoes (red and yellow) to give it color. It was so yummy!!!

Outstanding salsa! I doubled the recipe and used 3 jalapenos. Since I am not a fan of chunky salsa, I ran it through the food processor. Absolutely fabulous!

We liked it a lot with only two changes: For the second batch we cut the salt down and pulsed most of it through a food processor. We like chunky salsa, but thought that the food processor helped bring everything together just a bit better. We will be making this frequently, thanks.

Superb salsa! I ran out of lime juice so I used the vinegar from my pickled jalapenos. Delicious :-)

Awsome! We use canned sliced jalapeno instead of fresh jalapeno because we found fresh to be too over powering. Everything else is followed to the t. After combining we put all the ingredients into the food prossesor and give it 5-7 1-2 second whirls and it'll come out just like the picture nicely diced and perfectly combined. Thanks again.

My husband kept complaining about how the salsa we bought from the store wasn't hot enough, so I made this for him using 3 jalapenos. He likes it a lot, but said that next time we'll probably use just 2. He liked it better after chilling in the fridge overnight, when the flavors had a chance to blend.

A definite keeper. Tastes great with no jalapenos, which I left out since young children were eating it.

Hello, My daughter lives in the UK Cornwall Anyway we love spicy foods and this is a wonderful salsa recipe. Make it as hot or as mild as you want the flavor will still be wonderful. It can be doubled or tripled or whatever. This recipe will feed 4 adults a snack. Let me know what you think.
