You'll find that this spread is unbelievably flavorful, but only uses two ingredients. Serve as an appetizer, or serve the crackers along with salad and fruit for a complete summertime dinner. It's also a great way to use leftover baked salmon (basic recipe included at the end).

Ingredients Nutrition

  1. Prep: Use two forks to gently flake apart cooked salmon. Soften Boursin Cheese slightly in microwave (10 seconds).
  2. Blend Boursin Cheese and flaked salmon. Serve with crackers.
  3. Basic salmon cooking instructions: brush salmon with olive oil - then sprinkle with rub (Salmon Rub or Old Bay Seasoning). Bake 10-12 minutes at 425 degrees - remove from oven when you see dots of white coming from inside - these are the cooked protein solids and at this point, it's almost OVER-done.

Yep, 5 stars. Even if you use canned salmon. 5 stars.

This is excellent, and SO easy to prepare! I used a can of smoked salmon, which gave the spread a nice smoky flavor. DH normally refuses to eat salmon but he absolutely loved this stuff and couldn't stop eating - that's how good it is! Thanks for posting! :)
