This was very good, I like the "latke" likeness of this recipe. I was so eager to give this a try that I made it in the morning and had it for breakfast with a fried egg. it would be perfect for a brunch. I am also going to have one with a green salad and vinegarette for lunch. These are perfect for any meal.

These were a good, quick meal. We didn't have buns the first night, so we just ate the patties with our fingers. (We grabbed them on our way out the door.) I, too, was worried at the gloppiness of the "patties" before browning, but I forgot about the eggs, which really helped to form the patties and keep them together. We did find the patties to be a bit salty, and I didn't even use a full 1/2 t of salt, but we did use home-canned salmon from a friend, and I don't know if that contributed to the saltiness. I opted not to use hot sauce (we didn't have any). Thanks for posting!
