you should always leave the bones in canned salmon, they are full of much needed calcium. Just mash them with a fork, they are soft and you wont be able to detect them at all. I Love salmon patties so much too, thanks for posting this recipe.

Ingredients Nutrition

  • 425.24 g can salmon, bones removed
  • 118.29 ml minced onion
  • 1 egg
  • 118.29 ml flour
  • 14.79 ml Italian breadcrumbs
  • 14.79 ml vegetable oil


  1. Mix first 5 ingredients well.
  2. Shape into 4 patties.
  3. Heat oil in 12 inch skillet.
  4. Brown patties on each side over med-hi heat.
  5. Reduce heat to low and cook for 8 minutes, turning occasionally.
