Simple and easy
- 1 (15 ounce) can salmon
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 2 eggs
- 1⁄2 teaspoon celery salt
- 1⁄4 teaspoon white pepper
- 2 -3 tablespoons oil
- lemon wedge
- Remove skin and larger bones, then mash and mish the rest together with wooden spoon.
- Add remaining ingredients, mix well form into 4 patties.
- Heat oil in fry pan, add cakes fry about 5 minutes each side.
- Serve with lemon wedges.
When I mixed the ingredients, I added 2 teaspoons lemon juice, dill weed,garlic salt,a, few good shakes of dry mustard,and a good splash of Frank'sHotSauce,followd the rest of the recipe. Did use a can of wild caught red salmon,it cost a little more but well worth it. When I want Salmon patties, this will be my go to recipe.
I thought this was pretty bland and I even added dill weed to the mix to spice it up a bit. Thanks for sharing, though.
Very tasty and easy to make. Cover it with a little cheese sauce, and it's a five.
