Orange juice, honey, soy sauce, and ginger unite in a great marinade for grilled or broiled salmon.

- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1⁄4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons minced gingerroot
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 2 tablespoons canola oil
- 1 1⁄2 lbs salmon
- Combine the first 8 ingredients in a bowl and mix well.
- Marinate the salmon for 15 minutes to 1 hour.
- Broil or grill about 4 minutes on each side.
Wonderful. We reduced the marinade and adding as a sauce when plating - topped off with a salad.
Really good! I didn't add any salt, but I found it didn't need it. We cooked our salmon steaks on the grill using a grill skillet, skin side down for 5 minutes and then flipped cooking 1 more minute. Perfect!
Made for Fall 09 PAC. exactly per the recipe. What can I say this is the most wonderfully perfect marinade for Salmon, and when Grilled on the BBQ the Salmon came out spot on perfect with cooking it 4 minutes on each side. I also marinaded chicken tenders in it for a friend who does NOT eat anything fishy, she loved the flavor this marinade imparted to her meat. The only thing I would do differently is possibly try brushing some additional marinade on during the grilling, or even add a touch of cornstarch as a thickener to a bit of it, and boil to a nice sauce to have the option of drizzling it over the fish. The marinade is JUST that darned good. Thank You Always for a great recipe.
