This incredibly simple recipe was one that my husband and I got from "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy." They have some remarkably wonderful recipes!

Directions

  1. Mix ingredients in small bowl.
  2. Spread over salmon and cook at 400 degrees for ten minutes.

I thought I would try brown sugar, rather than honey to solve the runniness problem that the other reviewer described. Didn't work - most of the glaze slid off. Still tasted darned good though.

Very good and very simple to prepare. We doubled the ingredients to double the sauce. Our cut of salmon was a bit thick and required a 20 minute cook time turning once. We put the glaze on after we turned the salmon. Next time, we will thicken the glaze, which was very runny, by adding one TSP of cornstarch to the soy sauce and warming in a microwave until thickened. Then, adding the other ingredients to the soy mixture. We think that will make this delicious "glaze" stick to the fish more instead of running off onto the pan. Thank you for posting this delicious recipe!
