This is a great comfort food, easy and delicous. Don't forget to make mashed potatoes to use up the gravy.

This was disgusting!! The onions were still way too crunchy for us!! If I make this again I will be sure to cook the onions until they are soft and then mix it into the meat and crackers.

Ingredients Nutrition

  • 1 12 lbs ground beef
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 6 saltine crackers, soaked in milk

Directions

  1. Mix ground beef with salt pepper, onion and crackers.
  2. Shape into oval patties.
  3. Brown.
  4. Place in baking dish and cover with gravy, either made from pan drippings or can or packaged gravy mix.
  5. Bake 300 degrees, 45 minutes.
