Salami Tartlet Canape Bites

"Purchase salami slices that are medium-thick and around 2 1/2 inches in diameter as these will be a perfect fit for the muffin holes. Super easy to make and create an interesting alternative when providing nibbles for a party. They are also great with slice of tomato before you pour in the egg."

  1. This was nice but I found the salami a bit heavy and strong-tasting for the delicate flavour of the eggs. I made half the recipe and used the suggested slice of tomato as well as some finely snipped chives. The canapes puffed up beautifully in the oven but were a little dry when they cooled.
