DD was charmed to find a dish that shares her name. It seems I've made gallons of this dressing. It is nice on lettuce and lovely over fruit. It's from the 5 in 10 Cookbook by Paula Hamilton.


  1. Combine cream, juice, sugar, and lemon zest and whisk till smooth.
  2. Let stand for a couple of minutes.
  3. Rinse and dry lettuce.
  4. Arrange lettuce on salad plates and drizzle with dressing.
  5. Serve immediately.

I loved this dressing! More than 5 stars. It has a wonderful tangy lemon flavor and just when you think it's too tangy, you have that creamy slightly sweet taste to change your mind. I can't wait to try it on fruit.
