  1. Simmer the sage and rosemary in the water for 30 minutes, then steep for several hours. Apply to hair and leave on until dried. Then rinse and dry.
  2. Repeat weekly, until desired shade, then monthly to maintain color.

I am amazed but this actually works. I usually use l'oreal. It was time to do my roots and I made this on Weds. but did not get to use it until Thurs. It sat in the fridge over night. I strained it and took the chill off it in the microwave. I just poured it on and worked it in like shampoo. I let it dry for over two hours and then rinsed it out. My hair felt a bit tangled and stiff so a rinsed again with a little cream rinse. I already see results. The gray is not totally gone but the roots ARE darker and I will use again for a few weeks and give you an update then. Thank you Sharon !
