    This is a really easy and complementary stuffing for a chicken. One batch will stuff a 1.5kg to 1.7kg chicken.

    Units: US | Metric

    • 1 cup packaged breadcrumbs
    • 1 medium onion
    • 1 tablespoon sage
    • 1/2 cup water (approx)

      Place breadcrumbs, finely chopped onion and sage in a large bowl.

      Gently start adding water and mixing till you get a nice binding stuffing, don't make it too sticky.

      This is a good basic stuffing recipe. I did cut the amount of onion in half as it seemed like a little too much, and it was great. Thanks for a nice side dish Kiwipom!

      This was a good basic stuffing with a really nice consistency. Sometimes I like to add a few more herbs and garlic etc, but this would be a great recipe when cooking for those where you're not sure of their personal tastes because it has a nice mild flavour.
