- Cut cheese into bite-sized cubes.
- Melt butter in frying pan; add cheese.
- Fry on all sides until crusty and chestnut-colored.
- Squeeze lemon juice over cheese and serve with crusty French bread.
When I finally found the Kasseri cheese, I tried this - what a delicious cheese, I've never had it before! Mine melted a little too much, but it was still good, and it was absolutely yummy with the lemon juice drizzled over the top - a really interesting finishing touch.
so very easy to do, so very good. in detroit, we have greek town with wonderful food. this tastes exactly like the delicious appetizer i've had in the past.
