A perfect subtly flavored rice, perfect with curries, and so easy. It will be my default rice from now on.

Great flavors and easy to throw together in a rice cooker. I used hot mango chutney but it didn't add much heat at all. I like the fruity flavor so I may double up the chutney next time. Definately a keeper.

Super Easy!!! I don't have a rice cooker so adjusted water to rice ratio's and it was perfect. I love what the flavour of cardamom pods can bring to a dish. I served this with Sesame chili and parsley crusted lamb fillets and it went really well. I will try this next time with a curry as it would be a really delicious side dish with that. Thanks French Tart

Made this to go with Recipe #232763 as you had done. Made this on the stove (don't have a rice cooker). I really enjoyed the flavors of this as it was something different. I liked the idea of the chutney and used my homemade. Thanks FT!

Karen, I'm not going to rate this...I think my saffron was dead! I put way more than three threads (like 8 or 9 or 10 eventually) and they did not tint or--as far as I can tell flavor--the rice whatsoever. Nevertheless, it was very tasty with Chicken Breasts With Apple Curry Sauce #188011.

So simple and delicious! I loved the chutney and cardamom seeds in this and the rice cooker is a great way to make this dish. Thanks French Tart. Made for ZWT3.

This was easy to make, it helped as I had good directions. The saffron makes the rice look really pretty and the flavour is very nice but not overpowering perfect as a side dish. I severed it with Chicken With Garlic Cream Sauce, Thank you French Tart
