Easy & a good appetizer
- 1 lb cocktail franks, some you may want to cut in half
- 1⁄2 cup rye whiskey (you can use Jack Daniels but not as good for this recipe)
- 1⁄2 cup ketchup
- 1⁄2 cup brown sugar
- 1⁄2 teaspoon hot sauce (Denzel, Pepri-Peri, Tabasco, mare depending on your taste)
- Mix together the ketchup, brown sugar& hot sauce, heat to simmer add rye& weiners simmer for 30 minutes.
- Serve on toothpicks.
- These can be frozen.
