My husbach and I made this with some grated sharp cheddar cheese added the last few minutes of baking. It was awesome.

I made this recipe for "pick your chef" and I am so glad that I did! This recipe is so easy and yet it the presentation is awesome. This would be a great dish to serve to guests. I was wondering how the cream cheese would stay on the chicken under the bacon, but I followed the directions and it worked great. The bacon around the chicken made the chicken amazingly juicy. I will be making this often, thanks for sharing this.

AWESOME! This was very simple to make, very moist and delicious! I didn't have green onions so I used a small yellow onion that seemed to work fine! Thanks for a great recipe!

Yum, and going into my 'best of' cookbook! I reduced this for DH and myself, using 1 huge breast, to split between us. My green onions were gone over, so I just used a couple of cloves of garlic added to the cream cheese, and that was fabulous. Even after pounding the breast, it was still rather thick, so my cooking time was a bit longer, thru no fault of the recipe. My bacon got a bit 'done', but that is OK by us! This dish will really impress my friends, and I will be making it for them, and soon! Thanks so much for sharing this great recipe, ~Nimz~!

Fabulous recipe! I took the idea and added a few twists, which is one more reason this recipe is so great First, I only wanted 4 servings, so I sauteed 3 large mushrooms, 3 garlic cloves and about 1/4 cup onion, let the mixture cool...then added in the cream cheese (I used fat free) with a small bunch of chives. Be sure to season both sides of the chicken beforehand. Once you have the bacon wrapped around the bundle, put the loose-ended side down on the pan so it doesn't come apart when the bacon starts cooking. We loved this! Thanks Nimz.

I made this recipe, but used yellow onion instead of the green because that is what I had on hand. It was awesome. The family loved it; I will make it again!

Delicious, yet simple. Will definitely use it again and again. I used 1/4 cup of chives instead of green onion and fat free cream cheese. Also sesoned chicken with onion power prior to cooking and will try it with garlic power the next time. To add color/texture, I will try sauted mushroom and onion and a little thinly sliced red pepper.

Hubby I liked this, and I thought it was ok. I guess I just thought the outside of the chicken- even with the bacon was a bit bland. However hubby had no problem with it and ate every last bite. Makeing this again, I may skip the bacon and just bread the chicken instead. Thanks for posting the recipe.

Delicious and easy! I used a light version of the cream cheese, added 1 teaspoon mince garlic to the cream cheese mixture, seasoned my chicken with lots of lemon pepper, baked for 50 minutes, and broiled for 4 minutes to get the bacon a tad crisp. I did put foil underneath it to help for an easier clean up. Thanks ~Nimz~ for sharing. Made for Everyday is a Holiday.

Easy to make, deliciously moist and flavoursome and extemely elegant, making this a great midweek meal or one to serve to guests and, since sometimes those two coincide, a great choice for those occasions! You could also prepare this up to the end of step 4 in advance. The only additions I made were to add some minced garlic, rosemary, sage and thyme to the cheese before dividing it into balls, and that's because I love garlic and herbs. Thank you so much for a great recipe, ~Nimz~ Made for Zaar Stars Tag.

This is a wonderful recipe. The first time I made it I made it exactly as written. The second time I used chive and onion cream cheese. Both were wonderful. Thank you for posting.

What a great tasting and simple recipe this is! I added a little garlic powder to the cream cheese mix, just as it lends itself so well to all of the original ingredients, but apart from that.made as written. The end result was juicy, moist and very flavoursome. A dish that is delicious, easy and looks good enough for company..got to be a winner in my book!

What a wonderful recipe. I prepared it exactly as written, and it came out great. I'd probably play around with adding some herbs when I make it again, but it tastes great just as it is written. Thanks!

We had this delicious chicken with some fettuccine noodles with Marsala wine, cream cheese, half and half, butter, garlic and carmelized onions. It was an excellent choice and one I will certainly make again, and according to my DH it will be made soon! He just about licked his plate on this one :)

This was a winner in our house! I had five chicken breasts and halved them...2 pieces of bacon each. My husband rarely says something is "great" because he is so not picky and doesn't really care what he eats. This chicken recipe actually made him ask what it was!! I served with green bean casserole and hot dinner rolls. The five kids loved it as well...even the seven year old who isn't into the green onions so much! Thanks for sharing!

very good! i have made this many times using boursin cheese, but cream cheese with chive and onion is just as good and cheaper. I also microwave the bacon for 45-60 secs before i wrap it so the bacon and chicken finish cooking at roughly the same time

The cream cheese filling got dried out with mine. I think for one thing that 8 ounces is way too much for 8 breasts unless you have huge chicken breasts. I precooked the bacon a bit but it was still quite greasy. The chicken turned out moist but it was bland in flavor. My family ate it but didn't rave about it like other chicken recipes.

This is my type of recipe, only 5 ingredients & tastes great. I did find the cream cheese filling just a little rich, I would have liked a bit more flavour in it so when I make this again I may do as another reviewer suggested & use chives & garlic flavoured cream cheese. This was delicious though, a great one for when you have company as it can be assembled ahead of time to pop in the oven later.
