I made just the dressing portion of this recipe. It was to die for. I keep looking for stuff to dip in this lovely dressing.
I made two portions (the whole recipe but only divided into two) for lunch for DH and I last week! It was too cold for him to grill -- so we used the good ole George Forman which worked just fine. We left out the radish, tomato and potato simply due to personal preference! I also used splenda in place of the sugar! This was a great hearty salad that, with the addition of a french roll, kept me full until dinner time, but didn't make me feel so full I needed a nap during the work day! By the way -- I sent lunch packed this way: Salad in a big tupperware bowl, chicken (already sliced) in a zip lock to re heat in microwave and dressing in a separate container in order to keep everything as fresh as possible! Thanks for posting we will enjoy this many a time to come! Made for Holiday Tag 2009!
My family really enjoyed this hearty salad. I added herb mixture/salt/pepper to make the dressing and chicken more flavorful. It would have been too bland for us without herbs and salt and pepper. Prepared for Craze-E Contest. Thanks for sharing!
First of all, the marinade was delicious. I also liked the rest of the salad but I didn't know how the potatoes were supposed to be cooked and noticed after that it says to boil them in the description. The dressing is good as well. I liked the combination of ingredients. This was very good and I had fun buying the ingredients at the Farmer's Market! Made for Craze-E Salad competition. Thanks! :)
This one did not work out for me. The marinated chicken is fine, nothing special. The dressing is extremely sweet - this is more sugar than I would add to a yogurt dessert, and the mustard overpowered the other tastes.
This was a nice list of salad ingredients and made a nice dinner salad. I left off the cooked potato as I didn't see that it would add anything to the salad. The dressing is very tasty. Thanks for the entry and good luck in the contest.
