This is great as a "warm up" drink around the campfire or on a cold winter evening.
Make and share this Russian Tea recipe from Food.com.
- 1 cup instant tea
- 2 cups Tang orange crystals
- 1 1⁄4 cups white sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1⁄2 teaspoon clove
- Mix ingredients well.
- Store in covered jar.
- For Tea: Use 1 rounded Tbsp of mixture to each 8 oz. of hot water.
Delicious! I also cut back on the sugar- I used 3/4 cup. So wonderful on a blustery day and not heavy like hot chocolate or coffee can be- also full of vitamin C! Sometimes use lemon flavored tea as well, and if you get decaf, makes a good drink before bed- love this tea!
How much fun this was to put together. Made for Comfort Cafe - Winter Snow Queen Round 1/10. What a neat gift this will make all through the winter season. I typically don't drink tea, but this recipe has changed my tune. Wonderful, come-in-from-the-cold, warm fuzzy aroma and taste. Thank you so much for sharing.
This is such a treat! The only changes I made was I added an envelope of lemonade and only used 2/3 a cup of sugar otherwise it was too sweet. Perfect for winter nights and when you have a cold!
