Not quite Runza but not bad by any means. I've only had Runza twice while visiting a friend in Nebraska but I know it's good and this does satisfy the need if you are far away from an actual Runza like me. Nonetheless when I saw it I decided to make it the very next day! I used mushrooms in mine instead of the onion and pepper as my wife doesn't like either of those things. I tried to wrap my like a Runza to get the full effect and had some trouble...after failing twice I decided to take the triangles and fold one on top of the other and pinch the sides closed which seemed to work well. I might recommend letting the meat cool a bit before spooning it onto the crescent rolls as it made it difficult to work with. Overall good recipe and I will make it again!
