After watching The Heffalump movie a gazillion times with my daughter she insisted that we make the recipe that Disney provides at the end of the bonus section - I haven't tried them yet - but they sound really super yummy! I guessed on the prep/cook and servings - please let me know if I'm way off and I'll be sure to fix it! WARNING! I JUST MADE THIS RECIPE AND THERE IS SOMETHING SERIOUSLY WRONG WITH IT! I AM LEAVING IT HERE WITH THE HOPE THAT SOMEONE WILL FIND THE PROBLEM - PERHAPS I COPIED IT DOWN WRONG??? THANKS!!

Make sure you add the 1 cup sugar when you make this recipe. The sugar is listed in the ingredients, but it is not mentioned in the step by step directions.

We really liked these at my house. We had a tea party with them. The recipe on the DVD calls for unsalted butter--that's why it calls for as much salt as it does. If you are using salted butter, reduce or eliminate the salt. These dough is crumbly, but bakes together well. They are also pretty sweet so I think I will reduce the sugar next time or maybe use honey instead as that seems more Pooh-ish.

This recipe is fine, just be prepared for a crumbly mixture thats all. I just push them together on the tray rather than roll (the roughing-it-in-the-woods effect). Kids love them :)
