This is easy, and serves a crowd I got it from a friend who always brought it to picnics and get-togethers.

  1. Dunk cookies thoroughly in rum milk mixture.
  2. Using a 9x12-inch glass pan line bottom with cookies.
  3. Using prepared vanilla pudding cover the 1st layer of cookies.
  4. Repeat using another layer of dunked cookies.
  5. Cover with prepared chocolate pudding.
  6. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
  7. Cut into 12 squares, top with cool whip and cherries.

I love this!!! I got the recipe in 1983 and it has always been one of my standards. delicious, rich, creamy, easy. I usually use almond toast, since I don't love the taste of anisette and I spray the rum mixed with water not milk with a spray bottle. Thank you for postihg this wonderful recipe.
