  1. Beat eggs, one at a time, in a bowl, until light and fluffy.
  2. Add sugar and cream well.
  3. Mix in the salt and semolina.
  4. Continue to whisk it well.
  5. Add the cardamom powder and baking powder.
  6. Mix well.
  7. Cover and keep aside for 1-2 hours.
  8. Make sure that you beat this mixture every 15 minutes.
  9. Once the 2 hours have passed, heat enough oil in a wok to fry these wonderful treats.
  10. Drop a round spoonful of the mixture into the oil.
  11. Flatten slightly.
  12. Cook on low flame until golden.
  13. Carefully, flip these over and cook on the other side.
  14. Drain on clean paper towels.
  15. Serve with tea or coffee.
