- 1⁄2 cup olive oil
- 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1⁄3 cup white vinegar
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
- 2 cups water
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1⁄2 teaspoon dried rosemary
- 1 bay leaf
- salt and pepper
directions
- Heat olive oil. Add flour and then vinegar and continue to stir.
- Dilute tomato paste in water and add to pan with garlic, rosemary, bay leaf, salt and pepper.
- Cook over medium heat, stirring, until sauce thickens.
- Remove bay leaf and refrigerate for several hours. Serve at room temperature.
