Nice I used a buckwheat pancake mix to be gluten free and just followed the box on liquid amounts so they were perfect that way. I also combined this recipe with Healthy, Vegan and Terrific Strawberry Pancakes using rose water, freshly ground cardamom and unpasturised local liquid honey. I had to cook them in canola oil as I didn't have any almond oil but I think that would taste delicious. Made for RAMADAN TAG 2012!

I like the taste and smell of orange blossom water so I decided to do the pancakes with that and the cinnamon. Great mix. But I'm curious to try orange blossom water with cardmom. Maybe it would be great. I had to add the 1 cup of water to have a good consistancy. I made beautiful pancakes. And they taste great. Thanks Nasseh :) Made for Ramadan tag game

These were delicious but I don't know if I did something wrong. I cut the recipe to make 3 pancakes and aside from using Splenda for the sugar I followed the recipe. It was very thick so I started adding more orange water a bit at a time. When I had used more than double the amount ask for I thought that maybe it was supposed to be thick since the directions say "Smooth into a circle". Then I couldn't get them to brown even though they were well cooked. I'd like to try this again making the batter thin enough to pour into a circle.

I used one cup of all-purpose unbleached flour and a half of a cup of whole wheat flour. This did require an extra half of a cup of water, but it turned out excellent. Thank you for posting!

Just today I searched zaar for recipes with rose water because I wanted something else than just rose water cookies :D Made them with gluten free all purpose flour and had to add some water to get the right consistency, but that was just okay. Also I used brown rice syrup instead of honey, which surely didn't make great difference. As I love the combination of rose water and cardamom, I made two batches: One as suggested with ad dash cinnamon and one with about 1/3 teaspoon cardamom. The cinnamon was very subtle, nice fragrant flavour, but somehow unusual with the rose water (personal preference, I suppose). DH and I agreed that both were delicious but we both preferred the cardamom ones :) I suppose the cinnamon will be fantastic with the orange blossom water. Anyway I'll sure make them again both ways and try them with orange blossom water! Excellent easy recipe, thanks for posting!!
