I refuse to use chemicals in my garden so it is usually a crapshoot as to what will survive. :-) This sounded like a lovely remedy. Aphids found their way to my herb garden, specifically the dill plants. I couldn't really blast the wispy plants with water before dousing on the _antidote_ so I was unsure of the outcome. I checked this morning and *no* aphids to be seen on anything. Thanks so much for this miracle-cure!

Ingredients Nutrition

  • 1 orange rind, coarsely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon baby shampoo
  • 2 cups water

  1. Put ingredients in a blender and blend on high for 10-15 seconds. Strain out the pulp into a coffee filter, then pour liquid into a handheld mist sprayer.
  2. Get out your hose and blast your roses with a high pressure spray nozzle to dislodge the aphids. Now mist spray the plants and say goodbye to aphids!
