Rollasagna

"My Mom got this off the back of a frozen bread dough bag years ago. This is the original recipe. Each cook in my family has modified the filling to fit their taste. (For example, My aunt leaves out teh spinach, my sister adds pepperoni, but I like it as is with some shredded mozzerala added on top.)"

  1. This was easier to make than I thought it would be. Instead of using frozen bread dough, I made my own dough and used Philadelphia Garden Vegetable Cream Cheese to increase the flavour of the filling.

  2. I used parmesan cheese in the mix & left out the spinach. Very tasty & easy to make. Made for Please Review My recipe Tag

  3. We have a little eatery known for these, and this recipe is 100% better. A great dinner tonight. I used regular ground beef , other than that I did not adjust anything. This is great for a nice filling dinner. I also took the advice of the previous review, and kept the dough a little thicker, and it worked out very well. Thank for this recipe, that was definately well enjoyed by all. Made for 1-2-3 hit wonders.

  4. This took a little more time and effort than I usually put into dinner, but I think it was worth it. I guess I rolled my bread dough a little too thin because part of the side did tear open and spill a little while cooking, but it tasted just as good and the presentation wasn't ruined. Next time I'll cut back on the seasonings a little, just out of personal preference, but I thought this was a tasty, filling dinner and everyone in my family liked it.

I am the mother of two beautiful boys. I love to bake and cook which has helped me to become very overweight. I have lost 50 pounds this past year and have been learning to cook "lighter". We still enjoy many of the same dishes we used to. However, I have learned portion control and how to make suttle changes to my recipes that don't affect the flavor.
