Fantastic cookie! Only mistake I made was over chilling the dough so I had to let them sit out and thaw. Not sure what was up with that but it was a refrigerator error...lol. I didn't use the glaze on them, used another frosting and regretted it. So we ended up just eating them plain. Added to the list of Christmas cookies to make. :) Thanks for posting!

These were wonderful, loved the soft texture! I used my own icing for decoration and loved the combination. Thanks for posting!

The best ever. Soft, not crumbly. Easy to roll and cut. I used all Palm Oil instead of butter and added 1/2 tsp. artificial butter flavoring to accomodate family allergies. Used canned frosting instead of glaze. Fantastic!

This is the recipe I use for my cookie decorating classes. I don't chill the dough and have great results with it. The cookies remain good for weeks and can be frozen for several months. I use a good quality pure vanilla and they are very good plain as well as decorated.
