This is a moist bread, full of bananas and nuts. Note: Sharon's Banana Bread is the same ingredients except - 2 bananas and no nuts. Makes 1 loaf baked at 350 for 1 hour.
- Cream butter and sugar, add eggs.
- Blend in flour, soda, and salt.
- Mix thoroughly, then add bananas and nuts.
- Makes 1 large loaf cooked at 350 degrees for 60 minutes or 2 small loaves baked for 40-45 minutes.
This is such an easy recipe to make...I should have mashed my banana's a bit more...but the bread came out so moist...I only had hazelnuts in my pantry...and lucky for me there was just 1/2 cup full...but next time I think I would make it a full cup...I made the large loaf and it had to cook an extra 10 mins...I know that's not much but when you have a hungry man waiting for a piece it can seem a lifetime...he didn't even want to wait for it to cool...but he did...I prepared the pan prior to putting in the mixture...glad I did...it made removing the bread so much easier...this is an excellent reicpe to use up those banana's that just seem to ripen to soon...thanks for posting it...=)
